Phones with wireless charging can be great to own these days. You don’t have to struggle in order to connect the charger to the phone or have to deal with buying new USB cables from time to time.
All you have to do is drop the phone on the charging pad and go take a nap or see a movie, etc.
Today, we’re going to take a look at some Samsung phones with wireless charging.
Videos and specifications of each phone will be provided so you can know more before you decide what to do.
If you don’t know what specs are, I’ll try to explain for each device based on their specifications.
Without wasting anymore time, let’s begin.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S20
The S20 is one of Samsung’s latest flagships. With this device, you’re going to be getting the latest user interface you can get on any Samsung or Android phone.
You will be blown away by the screen and how well images are, that’s because they’ll always be sharp. This is because the S20 has a really good resolution.
If you’re interested in how fast a phone is, the S20 is going to be a device that delivers. Although the device comes in 2 models, with one slightly faster than the other, either of them will do just fine in today’s world.
To get the faster one, you’re going to have to import it if you’re not from the US.
If you’re into mobile gaming, the S20 is a phone you can rely on, if you’re also into multitasking (i.e. using many apps at the same time), know that the phone isn’t going to close your running apps.
The S20 also has enough room for your videos, pictures, music, games etc. you’ll not be worried about freeing up your phone cause you run out of space.
Nothing really terrible about this device, please watch the video above to find out more.

Compared to the S20, there’s not a lot of differences, besides a larger display, an additional camera lens and a slightly bigger battery, you’re practically getting the same device.
But that battery and the cameras are what you’ll find impressive about this device.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 ULTRA
The next wireless charging Samsung phone we’ll be looking at is the S20 Ultra.
At this point, you should know what to expect from the S20 Ultra. You get the latest operating system available on Android for a smooth experience.
Screen size is larger than the rest and battery life is fantastic.
If you want to take your photography to the next level, the S20 Ultra is the phone you should be looking at, compared to the rest.
Besides having a bigger battery, what you’re going to love about this device is that it has even more room for you to store a lot of files like videos, pictures, etc.
Clearly you’re going to need all of that because the pictures and videos the device will be taking are going to be heavy.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 ULTRA 5G
If you want to experience what 5G is, then this is the phone for you, otherwise, I would suggest you stick to any of the other S20’s.
Besides, from what I’ve seen, 5G phones are still in their early stages. You’re going to be running out of battery with a lot of these 5G phones.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10
The Note 10 looks like a promising device. Although it checks a lot of boxes, it still has a few areas where it falls short.
For example, the battery doesn’t sound so promising for a device like that. I feel so because of the the size of the display.
Screen resolution is really good, but not great if you compare it to the S20’s.
It has the ability to handle a lot of tasks, but you may be running out of battery a little quickly.
But overall, it is a phone that is fast, can handle all your multitasking, has a lot of room to store files and can be upgraded to run on the latest Android software.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10 PLUS
With the Note 10 Plus, I feel like the Note 10 takes a slap to the face by this device.
Everywhere the Note 10 falls, the Note 10 Plus looks at it and says “pathetic”. Battery is better, tasks are handled better.
The display is sharper and overall, you’re not going to get slowed down when you use this device.
And yes, the Note 10 Plus also a wireless charging device.

SAMSUNG GALAXY FOLD
You are interested in getting a wireless charging Samsung device right? Well, how about a fold-able one that has two screens and plus the ability to charge wirelessly?
If you’re interested in a phone like this, then the Samsung Fold is what you need.
This phone will offer you some of the latest technologies any phone can give you. A great processor that will handle all your activities, an impressive battery too.
You also get a lot of room to store all the files you need, seriously, we’re talking the amount of space you’ll find on some computers.
The screens are good and the cameras are also impressive. It’s just one of those phones that just stand out.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S10e
One thing the S10e can offer you is being compact. A lot of the phones we’ve talked about so far have large displays, you’re also probably going to need two hands to use them.
But with the S10e, in most cases you’re only going to need one hand.
Having a small screen doesn’t mean it’s a bad screen, and although it’s the same screen resolution the Note 10 has, you’re probably not going to notice because the pixels are going to be tiny and sharp.
Another area where the phone isn’t that promising is battery. But it’s a small phone with a small screen so battery may not be an issue.
You get enough room to save files like music, pictures, games, etc.
The phone is also fast enough and can handle tasks well.
SPECIFICATIONS

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 9
From here on, we’re going to be talking about Samsung’s older devices. Some are still relevant today (like the Note 9) while others are just on the list because they support wireless charging.
The Note 9 was a very impressive device when it was released a few years back. It had almost everything you’d need on a phone back then.
It’s still has a great display, fantastic battery and seriously, a really good processor.
This means that tasks run smoothly on this device and you’ll have enough space to store all your media files like pictures, music, videos, games etc.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S9
A few years ago, the S9 was one of the phones everyone loved using, but today, I would strongly ask you to reconsider.
Although the phone comes with a fast processor and a nice display, in today’s world, it is not going to be very fast.
Depending on the model you go for, you may find yourself running out of space on time.
And the worst part is the battery.
SPECIFICATIONS
Operating System | Android 8.0 (Oreo), upgradable to Android 10.0, One UI 2.0 |

SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 PLUS
The S9 Plus is much better compared to the S9. Being that they are both old phones, the S9 Plus is a phone you can use today.
It’s got a better battery, can handle a lot of tasks.
If you want to be able to store a lot of files without running out of space, then I’ll advise you go for the 256GB version.

Operating System | Android 8.0 (Oreo), upgradable to Android 10.0, One UI 2.0 |
Display | 6.2 inches 1440 x 2960 pixels Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen |

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8
The Note 8 is still a good enough phone in today’s world. You may experience a few lags here and there but overall, you won’t be missing out on a lot of things.
It’s got a great display, can handle using many apps at the same time and has enough room for you to store files if you go for the 256GB model.
Battery is also good, but not great.
SPECIFICATIONS
Operating System | Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie) |

SAMSUNG GALAXY S8
If you want the S8, then ensure you’ve got a place where you’re going to be saving most of your files.
With a few videos shot with this phone’s camera, you will be running out of space fast.
If space isn’t you’re problem, well then, it is a phone you will find okay.

Internal Storage | 64GB |
Selfie Camera | 8 MP + 2 MP (Dual Camera) |
Main Camera | 12 MP |
Battery | Li-Ion 3000 mAh |
SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 PLUS
The S8 Plus performs a little better compared to the S8. It’s also got a better battery and can store a lot of files.
But depending on the version you go for, you may find yourself running out of space fast or not.
And you may feel like the phone doesn’t handle multitasking well or not.
If you want to avoid running out of space or experiencing lags, then I’d suggest you go for 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

CONCLUSION
As earlier stated, having the ability to wirelessly charge your Samsung phone can be a great thing. Sadly, wireless charging technology wasn’t that great a few years back.
So those of you who are going for phones that are quite old will face slow charging issues.
Problems you are likely to face with Samsung phones with wireless charging include
- Slow charging speed (excluding recent phones, as stated)
- Not being able to use your device while it charges (unless you use a stand)
- Wireless charging pad is sold separately
- Samsung phones with wireless charging are expensive (the recent ones)
These may be reasons why most people wouldn’t want to go for a wireless charging Samsung phone for now, but well, if you’re one of those people who don’t usually use their phone while it charges, you’ll do just fine.
And wireless charging is great for those who just want to drop their phone after a long day and go to bed.
It’s easier to just drop your phone on a charging pad compared to connecting it to a charger when you’re really sleepy.
Well, I hope you were able to find a phone you want.
Please note that I will continue updating this list as more phones that support wireless charging get released.
You can check out my article that talks about Samsung phones that are waterproof, if that’s something you may be interested in.
